Obituary of Amy C. Jacobs Amy C. Jacobs, 46, of Kinnelon NJ, passed away on April 20, 2019. Born and raised in Kinnelon NJ, Amy was the beloved youngest daughter of Carolyn and Carl Jacobs. She worked for many years as an LPN, at Fair Acres Nursing Home in Media, PA, and had a passion for taking care of the elderly. It was truly her gift. Family was everything to Amy, from the babies to the most senior family members. Her sister, brothers, and niece were the light of her life. She cherished her cousins, mostly all of whom were younger than she, and she dearly loved her aunts and uncles. Most of all, everyone knows how much she absolutely adored her grandparents. Amy had a magical way about her, making each one she spent time with feel coveted and so very special. Amy was genuine, kind, loving, sensitive, intuitive and compassionate. Her wonderfully unique and delightful laugh brought joy to everyone in her space. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Amy is survived by her father, Carl Jacobs; her mother, Carolyn Sheehan Berry; her sister, Noelle Herczku; her brothers, Gregory Jacobs and Steven Uzelac; her niece, Sophia Herczku; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her stepmother, Mae Jacobs; and her grandparents, Harold & Anne Jacobs, and John T. & Carolyn J. Sheehan. Visiting hours will be held from 6 to 9 pm Friday, April 26 and 1 to 3:30 pm Sunday, April 28 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 3:30 pm Sundayat the funeral home.
