Amelia Stripling Obituary

Amelia Hobby Stripling, 78, of Chula passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at Legacy Village in Tifton. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Chula. Mrs. Stripling will be laid to rest at Mount Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, from 6:00 to 7:30 p. m. in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Stripling was born September 16, 1944 and was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Stripling. Mrs. Stripling is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John and Heather Stripling of Tifton; and two daughters and sons-in-law, Starling and Robby Thornsberry and Anna and Cole Christie.
