Shrewsbury, MA

WORCESTER/SHREWSBURY – Alyse Lynn Walsh of Shrewsbury, MA, age 36, left us too soon on Saturday, September 2, 2023, in her home. Alyse was a loving mother to her two children; a benevolent daughter to her parents; a role model to all her siblings; a cherished member of a large extended family; and a friend to everyone she encountered. More than anything, Alyse loved providing care and support to those who needed it. Most recently, she was the outreach director and a recovery coach at Riverside Community Care. Prior to this role, she worked as a case manager at both Spectrum Health Systems in Westboro and Gosnold Rehabilitation on Cape Cod. She excelled in both of these roles for selflessness was in her nature. Alyse received an associate degree in nursing from Quinsigamond Community College and graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 2005. Alyse was the light and life in every room she entered. With a laugh that tickled you to your core and her sympathetic disposition, she became your best friend within minutes. She could show you how to live boldly, fight fiercely and was unapologetic for what she believed in. Alyse brought so much joy to anyone who knew her and will be deeply missed. Family was the center of Alyse’s world. She adored her two children and was always their favorite, goofy playmate. She taught them to carry strength and compassion for everyone and everything. The holidays were her happiest days because of how much she loved being surrounded by her children, parents, siblings, nieces and nephews. She is survived by her parents, Timothy J. and Pauline E. Walsh of Shrewsbury; two children, Sienna Rae and Maddox Timothy; siblings, Jennifer W. Kimball and her husband Steve of Manchester, VT, Liane M. Denaro and her husband Christopher of Whitinsville, Kelli-Marie LoCicero and her husband Brett of Sutton, Robert R. Walsh of Boston and Shayla R. Walsh of Shrewsbury; her maternal grandmother, Nancy J. Lefebvre of Oxford; her beloved nieces and nephews, Chace, Tatum, Dominic, Mila, Mikayla, Ava, Zyla, Luke and Abigail; Jeremy J. Walsh and his wife, Heather; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family and friends are welcomed to calling hours on Monday, September 18, 2023, from 5-7 p. m. at Paradis-Givner Funeral Home, 357 Main St. , Oxford. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at 10 a. m. at St. Roch’s Church, 332 Main St. , Oxford. Burial will follow at St. Roch’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a GoFundMe for Alyse’s two children to support their educational funds, by clicking this link.
