"OBITUARY FOR DUANE STUDE Duane Lee Stude was born July 13, 1931, in Meade, Kansas, to Arthur Raymond Stude and Gladys Opal Pickard Stude. He died Sunday, November 26, 2023, in Owasso, Oklahoma, at the age of 92 years. After his completion of high school, Duane was proud to serve honorably with the United States Marine Corp during the Korean War. After his discharge from the service, he married Billie Jereldene Robinson and later had three children, Billy, Jamie, and Letha. He spent most of his professional career as a chemist with Dowell, and later as a purchasing agent. Duane enjoyed a variety of pastimes including gardening and working in his yard, coin and stamp collecting, and metal detecting. He was an all-around handyman and was meticulous about his organizational skills. Those he leaves behind who hold many cherished memories include: Children; Billy Stude and wife Wathetta, of Tumbling Shoals, Arkansas Jamie McManes and husband Allen, of Owasso, Oklahoma Letha Stout and husband Mark, of Owasso, Oklahoma Grandchildren; Seth Gonzales and wife Annie Jessica Daly and husband Aaron Kelsey Stout and partner Bryce Priar Cody Stout and partner Sabrina Linvick James Strawn Alice Strawn Great grandchildren; Luca Gonzales, Finn Daly, twins, Tilly and Huxley Daly, Kaden Mosely, Raelynn Priar, Bryce Strawn, Paul Stude, and Elizabeth Stude Brothers; Jerry Stude and wife Lynn Gayle Stude Extended family and friends He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 49 years, Jerrie Stude, and two sisters, Shirley Caudy and Jean Higgs. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. Thursday, with family being present from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. , November 30, 2023, at Mowery Funeral Service in Owasso. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a. m. Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Mowery Funeral Service Chapel in Owasso. Committal service and interment will follow at Green Acres Memorial Gardens in rural Owasso.
