Alvin Jensen Obituary

Alvin Stewart "Al" Jensen, age 86 of Emily died at his home on May 7, 2023. He was born in Minneapolis on February 3, 1937 to Carl and Grace (Jones) Jensen. Al married Patricia Moore on April 29, 1961 in Iowa. Al has been a resident of Emily since 1970. He was a former Police Chief for the city of Emily with 14 years of service and a retired Mason in the Emily area. Al is survived by four daughters, Judy (Mike) Starry and Virginia Rodriguez all of Emily, Connie (Arnie) Glass of Outing and Rachael Molstrom of Hastings; one sister, Sandra Hemp of Brooklyn Park; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Preceding Al in death are his parents; his wife, Patricia and two brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 a. m. Thursday, May 11, 2023 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
