Marilyn Carol (Mack) Thompson 82 passed away February 28 2024. She passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Marilyn was born November 24, 1941 in Oregon City, Oregon to Ashel Darrel Mack and Viola Olive (Lent) Mack. She attended school in Canby Oregon until she graduated from Canby Union High School in 1959. She attended Linfield College for two years, Portland State for two years, and Eastern Oregon State College for one year. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education in 1964. After graduation she taught for 7 years. She taught in Glide, Oregon and Bakersfield, California. On August 23, 1969 she married Mickey Ebb Thompson at Canby United Methodist Church. After the wedding they went to live in Bakersfield, California. On September 24, 1971 the first daughter Marci Ann Thompson (Stewart). Two years later they moved to Las Cruces, New Mexico. On January 30, 1975 their daughter Rebecca Lynn Thompson (Case) was born. Mickey and Marilyn moved to Prineville, Oregon in February 1976. On September 27, 1979 their daughter Laura Louise Thompson (Fladung) was born. On July 24, 1980 their daughter Heather Leann Thompson was born sadly she did not survive the birth. Throughout her life Marilyn taught Sunday School at Prineville Community Church. She led Campfire groups for all her children and later her granddaughter. She did various other volunteer activities. After her youngest daughter started school she got certified to be a substitute teacher. She is proceeded in death by her parents Ashel and Viola Mack, her brother Ronald Mack, her sister Sarah Sue Calvache and her daughter Heather Leann Thompson. She is survived by her husband Mickey Thompson, her three children Marci, Rebecca, and Laura and her six grandchildren Tanner, Sarah, Mickailyn, Kellen, Mckinley, and Braxton. Bill Tittle was born on July 19th 1943 in Bend Oregon to Martin Wesley and Bessie Irene Tittle. Bill passed away February 9th 2024 at 11:30 pm at his home in Prineville Oregon in the loving care of his wife and step children. Bill was an avid outdoors man who loved hunting and fishing. He greatly enjoyed music and was a very talented guitarist and singer. He enjoyed his sports and he was pleased to share his love of all of these things with everyone. He was passionate about community service, volunteering his time with several local clubs doing community service including being a referee for youth sports in the past. He was an officer of the Benevolent and protective order of Elks at both the local and state level. Bill was preceded in death by both his parents, his brothers Verle and Gary and 3 grandchildren. He is survived by his 2 sisters Claudette Bidwell (Redmond Oregon) and Delores Holt (Salem Oregon), his loving wife Julie Smith-Tittle (Prineville Oregon), 3 sons Lonny Tittle(lake Oswego Oregon) Chris Tittle (Madras Oregon) and Dan Tittle (Quincy California), his 2 step children Beth Iveans and David Smith (both of Prineville Oregon), 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. , age 89, passed away peacefully in Prineville on February 8th, 2024. He was looking forward to seeing his Lord. Gene was born October 6, 1934 to Elmer and Clara (Morton) Ridgway in Preston, OK. As a young boy, Gene and his family moved to Porterville, California, working on various farms. Gene graduated from Porterville High School in 1954 and enlisted in the Air Force that fall. He served his country for 6 years and was assigned to the Sentry Dog Section in Guam. He received high recommendations for his dog training ability. He also served in the Korean War, stationed in Okinawa. In 1962, Gene married Margaret Skinner Moore. The two of them settled in Woodlake, California and owned several businesses, including a restaurant and a flower shop. Gene eventually was employed by Tulare County Sheriff’s department as a lake supervisor. In 2001 Gene and Marge moved to Prineville, Oregon to be near family. Gene enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening and camping. He was a very social guy and loved visiting with friends and neighbors and loved meeting his “coffee group” each Tuesday. He greatly valued those friendships. Gene is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Darrell, sister Ann, brother Jerry, and his wife Margaret in 2015. He is survived by his daughters Bonnie Rogers and Connie Tanner of Prineville, Christie Limon of California and Brenda Amyx of Porterville, CA, 7 grandchildren, and numerous great and even great-great grandchildren. Jonathan Lee Puddy was born to Miles and Mary Jane (McCoy) Puddy on Nov 17, 1959. The Lord took Jon peacefully to heaven on January 22, 2024. Jon worked for the US Forest Service, Fran Cherry Ranch, Clear Pine Mouldings, Marus Dental, Les Schwab Tires, Crooked River Meat Packing Company, and Home Depot. He retired in 2016. He is survived by his wife, Mary; sons James (Caren) and Michael (Sara); his mother, Mary Jane; sisters, Rebecca Puddy and Sandra Neal (Don); sister-in-law, Sue; niece, Mary Neal; nephew Jason Neal; and 10 (almost 11} grandkids. He was born in Prineville where he attended Crook County schools where he was a wrestling team captain and played trombone in band. He also attended COCC for a year and a half. Jon had many hobbies and was always up to something. He loved gardening, meat processing, farming, bee keeping, cooking, canning and was an avid book worm. He liked to fish, hunt, and camp as well. He was always learning. "Any day you didn't learn something was a wasted day" was one of his favorite quotes. He was teased a lot about his "useless information" and some called him "a fount of Information". His reply was "I read a book once." He took it all in stride, as he had a great sense of humor. Robert Nelson Prince Sunrise 11/22/1937 - Sunset 01/12/2024 Robert Nelson Prince, known fondly as “Bob, Pops or Gramps” of Prineville went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2024. Bob was born on November 22, 1937, to the late Clarence Lancaster and Maggie Hollifield Prince. He was also preceded in death by his brothers Charles W Prince, Clarence Edward Prince, Woodrow Prince, and sister Ruby Prince Duckett. A devoted Husband and Father, he is survived by his wife Cecelia Prince, whom he married on September 13, 1975; two sons, Brian Palmer and wife Charmaine of Charlotte, NC, and Darryl Palmer of Crabtree, OR. Bob is also survived by brothers William Prince and wife Helen of Rutherfordton, NC; Jack Prince of Nebo, NC; sister Mildred Prince Robinson of Campbellsville, KY; and brother-in-law Michael Warring and wife Lori of Phoenixville, PA. Bob is the grandfather to five grandchildren, Irene Reed and husband Dieskau; Makaela Morrison and Husband Nathan; Brianna Palmer; Bailey Palmer and wife Courtney; Savannah Daniels and husband Carl. Bob is the Great grandfather of six, Zoelynn, Phoebe, Salem, Samual, Geneva and Mya. Robert served in the U.S. Army and was a member of the Prineville Assembly of God Church. He loved his wife and family and was a friend to many. A Memorial Service is planned for Thursday, January 25, 2024, from 10 a.m. at Prineville Funeral Home, followed by private cremation. Bob’s final resting place will be at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Daniel Matthew Radford, 88 passed away on January 19, 2024. Daniel was born on February 8, 1935, and was the tenth child of James and Ila Radford. Daniel loved fishing, camping, rockhounding, and animals. He could build almost anything. “My Papa Remember how we’d wrestle and have fun when I was young? You used to measure my hands by the length of your thumb. You’d always be there with a joke or a new toy. You’d tell my favorite stories about when you were a boy. Yes, those days are gone, taken from us by time. Gone are the nights in the shop, the saw, & smell of pine. I look back with hurt, wishing I’d never grown older.
