Also preceded in death by his first wife Caroline Ragland McNinch and second wife Jo Ann Gibson. He is survived by his children, daughters Mary Caroline (Butch) Crisp, Beth (Malcolm) Machen, sons James Paul (Barbara) McNinch, and David Leon (Susan) McNinch. He is survived by grandchildren Allen Crisp (Curtis), Sheri (Marty) Graves, Marci (Joe) DeBord, Mark McNinch, Jason (Monica) McNinch, and John David (Lashae) Machen. Also surviving are 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
