Alice Brooks Obituary

Bomoseen- Alice Carolyn Brooks Alice Carolyn Brooks, 94, died early Friday morning April 21, 2023 at her residence in Bomoseen. She was born February 8, 1929 in Bomoseen, the daughter of Harold Joseph and Ruth (Spooner) Hall. Alice attended Castleton Normal School and was a graduate of Fair Haven High School class of 1947. She married Calvin C. Brooks. Alice worked for many years and retired from Tambrands Inc. of Rutland. She enjoyed spending time with her family and doing her flower gardens. She is survived by her brother Roger Hall and wife Maureen, by her five grandchildren Allison, Allen, Jamie, Dan and Tim. By her seventeen great grandchildren and her five great-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alice was predeceased by her parents, by her husband, by her children Tom, Fred and Randy, by her grandson Fred Jr. , and her great grandson Paul. Also by her brothers, Jerry, Vernon and Richard Hall Sr. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday June 20, 2023 at 2 P. M. at the Ducharme Funeral Home Inc. , located at 1939 Main Street Castleton. With the Rev. Robert Noble officiating. Visiting hours will be from 1 P. M. until the time of the service at 2 P. M. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
