Alex Voigt Obituary

Alex Lee Voigt, 90, a resident of Harrison, passed away on April 23, 2023, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born on March 25, 1933, in Chickasaw, Oklahoma to Joseph and Annie Voigt. Alex was a basketball lover, playing for both Hopewell and Bergman and enjoyed watching basketball all his life. The true love of his life was cattle farming. He is preceded in death by three sisters; one great grandson, Logan Voigt; and one grand son-in-law, Matthew Scott. Alex is survived by one daughter, Carolyn Tatum; one son, Ricky Voigt (Diane); three grandchildren, Keith Tatum, Ricky Landon Voigt, and Amber Scott; two great grandchildren, Jonathan Cody Tatum and Christian Alexander Tatum; and two great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Arkansas Alzheimer's Association, 10201 W Markham St, Little Rock, AR 72205.
