Terrance "Terry" Robert Cain was born September 6,1954 in Toledo, Ohio to Robert Cain and Lucille Gilson. December 2,2023, he passed peacefully at home in the presence of his family. On this morning the clouds lifted and his beloved wife Debra Mae Cain ushered him to heaven. Terrance and Debra married at the young ages of 16 and 17 in Lancaster, Mo. and devoted their lives to each other for 44 years. After the passing of Deb, he found sunshine again enjoying his life with Susan Vanpelt. Terry treasured the light, laughter and love that Susie has given not just him but the entire family. Terry served his country in the Army from 1972-1978 in the U. S. and Germany. Following his time in the Army, Terry began his career as a mechanic with Jeep retiring in 2009 with 30 years of service. Terry was a man of "simple things". Terry's pride and joy was his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren teaching them anything and everything. Terry was a jack of all trades, there was no project to big and he concurred everything he set his mind too including the reconstruction of his home with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed driving his #22 racecar at Oakshade, gambling on the horses, restoring cars, boating, fishing, and loving his canine companion, Lindsay Lou.
