Adrian Valtierra2/28/1945 - 6/18/2022Adrian was born on February 28, 1945 in Tejamanil, Guanajato Mexico to Juan and Juana Valtierra. Adrian passed away peacefully in his home at the age of 77. Adrian was raised in Mexico where he learned how to farm and raise animals. Adrian met Juana Tello and married her in August of 1971, spending and enjoying a lifetime together. They had two daughters, Nohemi and Araceli. In 1988 he and his family immigrated to Colorado where he continued to work in agriculture until his retirement. Adrian was an active member of the Jehovah's Witnesses church. He was baptized on May 11, 1966 and enjoyed preaching bible teachings and also studying God's Word. He memorized numerous bible scriptures to share with others or to comfort them. One particular scripture he liked to mention to people was Isaiah 41:10, which reads: "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness". Adrian enjoyed taking care of his goats and chickens as this reminded him of his youth and the chores he used to do. He also enjoyed traveling to Guanajuato visiting his family and friends and spending time at his second home. Adrian's pride and joy, however, were his two daughters and his grandchildren. He was always there for them, no matter what. He did the best to be a good father and a better grandfather by setting a good example for them to follow. Adrian is survived by his wife, Juana Tello de Valtierra; daughters, Nohemi (Rene) Mendez and Araceli (David) Gonzales; grandchildren, Adriana, David Jr. , Ashley and Ximena, siblings; Francisco, Eriberta, Eduardo and Refugio. He is preceded in death by his parents; Juan & Juana Valtierra.
