Just 5 hours and 33 minutes after coming into the world, Adrian Frank Orozco passed away peacefully in his mother's arms at Hartford Hospital. In just that short amount of time, he touched everyone's lives forever and knew only love and grace. Born at 34 weeks 5 days, Adrian weighed 2. 8 pounds and was 16. 5 inches long. He had dark hair, light brown eyes, long fingers and toes, and responded to Daddy's voice while holding Mommy's finger. Adrian was born at 10pm Friday, April 28, 2023 and passed away the next morning at 3:33am on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Adrian joins his older sister, Kaden Lee Orozco and his namesake, great-grandfather, Adrian Reynolds Canning, in Heaven. He is survived by his adoring parents, Sarah and Nicholas Orozco; his older brother, Noah Orozco; his grandparents, Cheryl and Frank B. Kimball III, Anne and Salvatore Cosentino, and Roberto Orozco; his aunts and uncles, Danielle (fiance James Mountzouris), Teresa, and Salvatore Cosentino, Christine and F. Blake Kimball IV, Ronald, Caitlin, and Robyn Footit; his cousin; Carl Bolton; his Godparents, Danielle Cosentino and John Traceski; his cats, Sage and Cayenne; along with many great-grandparents, great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. The family would like to extend tremendous gratitude to, Reverend Dean Warburton; Fetal Care Coordinator Jennifer Humphrey; Dr. Jean-Miller and Dr. Graziani; Dr. Parks and Dr. Hammer; Dr. Fanning; Dr. MacDougall; our NICU team especially our NICU Nurse Romina Karmazinas; our Sunflower Kids team; our Labor and Delivery Nurse Marissa Tedeschi; and all of the staff at Hospital of Central Connecticut, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, and Hartford Hospital. Sunflowers are extremely strong and resilient flowers just like all of the Sunflower Kids. Adrian will forever be a Sunflower Kid. Please plant sunflowers in honor of Adrian and think of him as they bloom. A celebration of life will be private at the family's request.
