ADRIAN "ACE" MUNGUIA ABREGO 1979 - 2023 Adrian "Ace" Munguia Abrego, a beloved soul who brought light and joy into the lives of those around him, was called home by our Heavenly Father on August 28, 2023, at the tender age of 43. He was born on October 28, 1979, in Corpus Christi, Texas, Adrian was the cherished son of Rafael Abrego, Jr. , and Lorena Munguia. He was a dedicated mechanic in the automotive industry for over two decades, a devout Catholic, and a lifelong resident of Robstown, Texas. Now, Adrian embarks on a journey to the eternal embrace of the Lord, reuniting with his daughter, Autumn Rae Abrego, his son, Anakin Abrego, his grandfather, Rafael Abrego, Sr. , and his aunt, Lucia "Lulu" Marie Abrego, who preceded him in death. The pain of their loss is immeasurable, but their memories will forever be etched in the hearts of those who loved them. Adrian's legacy of love and compassion lives on through his children, David Anthony Medrano, Adrian Troy Abrego, Jr. , and Arik Tristan Abrego. She actively participated in the Altar Society, the Marianas, and took joy in teaching CCD to children, nurturing their spiritual growth and deepening their faith. Maria's generosity knew no bounds; she often recited the rosary for the well-being of others, embodying the essence of selfless devotion. Maria found happiness in cooking, baking, and sewing for her family and friends. She was always ready to host visitors by offering a delicious meal or a sweet treat and some coffee. She was born on July 3, 1954, in the humble town of Robstown, Texas, Mary Lou was the loving daughter of Helio Perez, Sr. and Beatriz Tagle Perez. A faithful Catholic and member of St. Anthony Catholic Church in Robstown, Mary Lou dedicated over 25 years of her life as a Certified Nurse's Assistant in the home health and nursing home industry and she was a lifelong resident of her beloved hometown of Robstown. When Mary Lou wasn't working, she found solace and joy in simple pleasures, such as cooking brought her comfort, and her hands created warmth through the stitches of her sewing, she loved to go dancing to country and tejano music as she could dance the night away, and her garden was a sanctuary where she nurtured life by planting and caring for her cherished plants. Mary Lou's heart overflowed with love as she devoted her time to caring for her grandson and grandchildren and her playful spirit extended to her puppies, who were not just pets but beloved companions. Mary Lou's essence radiated love and care as a devoted daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt, friend and her absence leaves an unfillable void in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
