Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 10th, 2023, at 10:00 a. m. , at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home for Adrew Ronnie "Ricky" Howard, 73, of Trussville, who passed away Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023. Pastor Ed Rosser will officiate. The Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Ricky is survived by his wife, Sheila Vincent Howard; sister, Connie (Steve) Zortman; brothers, Ervil (Marie) Howard, Donald Terrell (Shelby) Howard; a host of children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, neighborhood kids, and his two dogs, Sam and Jack. Preceding him in death are his parents, Adrew B. Howard and Elma Mae Howard; sisters, Ina Fay Howard Lablanc, Beverly Ann Howard; daughters, Amy Marie Phillips, Susan Denise Mickle; son, Tommy Mickle; and Louise Howard. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 a. m. until the time of service. "Our family lost our beloved father, Milton Roger Oliver at age 75. Everyone called him Roger. He was retired from Washer Refrigerator Supply Company, and his hobby and greatest love was always fishing. He resided at 3913 Rock Ridge Road, Irondale Alabama. Roger passed away on December 5, 2023 at home. Roger was born on July 11, 1948. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Katie Oliver; parents, Curtis Edward Oliver and Tincey Oliver; brothers, Phillip, Jimmy, Wayne, Jerry, Gene, and Danny; sister, Pat; and great-grandson, Waytt Bentley. He is survived by his brothers, Harold and Perry Oliver; sister, Marsh Oaks; daughters, Becky Peffer (Skip) and Angie Gray; son, Curtis Oliver (Kristina); grandsons, Dustin (Amy), Trent, Austin (Britney), David (Megan), Josh (Lori), Zachary (Ruth), Micajah, Cayden, Brody, Jack, Kohen, Dax, George, and Stetson; and granddaughters, Tiffany, Lacey (Chase), Riley, Nevaeh, Katie, Jaylen, Rhyann, Macie, Bella, and Calye. "Departed this earthly life peacefully surrounded by her loving children and family by her side. As they said their farewells here on earth,her Heavenly family and friends welcomed her on November 29th 2023. She will be greatly missed but we rejoice that she is now living eternally with her Lord and Savior. She was one of eight children. Rebecca was born in 1951 she was 71 years of age and was looking forward to celebrating her next birthday on December 21st. Rebecca was met with many challenges in her life. She was strong willed and stubborn at times, but was a sweet, generous soul,with a heart of gold and giving nature were traits that highlighted her personality. She found comfort in the beauty of God\u0027s artwork within the sunsets and white sand in her favorite place Panama City Beach. Her favorite poem was Footprints in the sand. She was a huge Alabama Crimson Tide Football fan and was a lover of Pepsi and too many types of food to list . She loved the Christmas Holidays with the lights, decorations and to celebrate the birth of Christ. She cared deeply and loved her family so much. The most important thing to her of all was her \u0026quot;Pride and Joy* her children ; Aondie \u0026amp; Lonnie and the Love she had for her Lord and Savior. Sheila Vincent Howard, age 72, of Trussville, AL passed away on November 26, 2023. She was a native of Maryland and loved her blue crabs! Sheila enjoyed helping others in need and her canine companions were dear to her. She had a successful career in credit counseling for many years. Sheila was dedicated to her Lutheran faith, and loved spending time with her family. Sheila is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Donaldson Vance; husbands, Adrew "Rick" Howard, and Thomas John Vincent; brother Michael Mavergeorge; son in law, Jason Spahn, and grandson Ryan Terrance Jones. She leaves behind daughters, Jennifer Spahn Goode, and Sheila Nicole Vincent; son, Jeffrey Adam Jones; sisters, Patricia Kane, and Christina Glenn; brother, Tim Mavergeorge, grandchildren, Jessica Zaragoza, Jeffrey Olson, Jenna Jones, Julie Jones, Jacoby Spahn, Jensen Spahn, Enman Goode, Elijah Goode, Leilana Goode; numerous friends she considered family. Bobby Joe Newton, age 89 of Trussville, AL passed away on November 26, 2023. He was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church and he graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School. He was very proud that his football team voted him Most Valuable Player. After he graduated he joined the United States Air Force and served his tour of duty at Weathers Field Air Force Base in England. After returning home he joined the Alabama Air National Guard where he worked for a long career. He continued his education and earned his Bachelor and Masters degree from UAB. He retired from the Alabama Air National Guard on September 1, 1959 on his 55th birthday. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dora Newton, sisters, Ruby and Gloria Newton and Pauline (Bill) Dover, brother, Cecil (Geneva) Newton. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Gail Crouch Newton; daughters, Jo Ann (Mike) McLean and Susan (Dale) Dunn; grandchildren, Daniel and Drake (Krystal) Dormann, Brooks (Caroline) McLean and Liz (Matthew) Kowalski; great grandchildren, Jaxson and Rosie Dormann and Tripp McLean; sister-in-law, Kay Crouch; several nieces and nephews. "Funeral services will be at 10am Thursday, November 30 at Crosspoint Church in Trussville for Judy K. Baldwin, 74, of Trussville, who passed away Saturday November 25, 2023. Dr. Ryan Whitley will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Deerfoot Memorial Funeral Home will direct services. Ms. Baldwin was a longtime member of Crosspoint Church in Trussville. She retired from teaching in the state of Alabama after 38 years of service with Clay Chalkville Middle School being her last teaching position. She left a lasting impact on the many students she taught throughout the years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Idalene Autwell; and special uncle and aunt Thurman and Edna Townsel. She is survived by her daughter, Leslie (Michael) Turner; grandson Dylan Andrew Turner; and special cousins Byron Townsel and Danney Autwell. Pallbearers will be Byron Townsel, Dallas Townsel, Tom Watkins, Bill Walker, Kim Carlisle, Ron Cargo, and Tommy Stewart. Honorary pallbearers are Danney Autwell and Gary Bowers. Special thanks to Dr. Shaily Lakhanpal and the staff at Alabama Oncology, the staff of Ascension St Vincent's East, and Kathleen Wilson-Gray and Michelle Sanderson. "Elizabeth "Meme" Moreau, 83 of Gardendale AL was ushered into the presence of the Lord on Thursday, November 23, 2023. She was born on December 5, 1939 in Sunset, Louisiana. She was the secretary of the Gardendale Historical Society, served as the secretary of her homeowners association, founder and co-owner of Anna Belle's Health Food Co-op in Pinson, AL. She was deeply humble, unfailingly kind, profoundly resilient, tenaciously protective of her family, and a fearless person of faith, during her entire life. To her friends and family Elizabeth, "Meme", was a prayer warrior, healthy living advocate, emotional support coach and confidant. She took immediate interest in anyone she talked to, patiently waiting to find out how she could help or what she could pray for. She stood firm in her unwavering faith, regardless of circumstance, and constant comfort in the goodness of God. Without fail, her heart's desire was that everyone she encountered would develop a personal relationship with Jesus, that they would come to have a saving knowledge of what Jesus did for us - His life on the cross, for our life in Heaven.
