Theresia Mogle

Theresia Mogle

Age - 82

November 6, 2023

Theresia Mogle, age 82, of West Alexandria, OH passed away peacefully with her family by her side. She was born in Deggingen, Germany on May 1, 1941 to George and Maria Mulz. Theresia's life journey took a beautiful turn when she met the love of her life, Raymond Mogle. Their love story began in Germany and flourished as they embarked on a new chapter together in the United States. They relocated their family to the states and rode a boat that hit a tempestuous storm on their way home. Their union was a testament to the power of love transcending borders and cultures. Theresia had a passion for life, and she cherished the simple pleasures that brought her happiness. She delighted in the quiet, contemplative moments spent putting together intricate puzzles and watching the graceful hummingbirds that would visit her garden. Her devotion to these delicate creatures was exemplified by her dedication to maintaining a lush Rose of Sharon bush, a sanctuary for hummingbirds in her backyard. Theresia's heart was divided between her two homes - the United States and her beloved Germany. She worked tirelessly, saving up her tips from her job as a waitress, to fulfill her dreams of taking her family to Germany for unforgettable visits. Her happiness was palpable whenever she was home in the country of her birth. Theresia and Raymond shared a deep bond of love and adventure. They explored the vast landscapes of the United States together on their trusty Goldwing motorcycle, creating lifelong memories on the open road. Dancing was another cherished pastime, and they often enjoyed the music and company at The Eagles, creating unforgettable moments with their daughters. As a seamstress, Theresia's nimble fingers worked their magic, mending her husband's orange socks and ensuring their longevity. Her daughters were not only recipients of her love but also beneficiaries of her wisdom and skills, as she taught them the art of creating the finest Rouladen, a dish that holds a special place in their hearts. Theresia's love for her heritage extended to her daughters, whom she introduced to the grandeur of castles during family tours. Her legacy lives on not only in the delicious recipes and sewing skills she passed down but in the enduring love she instilled in her family. Theresia Mogle's life was a testament to the power of love, family, and the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments. She leaves behind a lifetime of beautiful memories and a family that will forever cherish her warmth, love, and the lessons she shared.
