On October 3, 2023, a great man left this earth to join our Lord Jesus Christ. Aciano Quintero better known to us as "Chano" passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family. Chano was born and raised in Reynosa, Tamaulipas. His parents were Mr. & Mrs. Isabel Quintero+. His brothers and sisters are Graciela, Ernesto +, Paula+, Guadalupe+, Gloria+, Benito+, San Juanita. In 1972 he married the love of his life and moved to Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Jovita Quintero; three children Selene, Noelia (Felix) and Fernando (Waylet); grandchildren Alyssa and Armando; great-grandchildren Aurora and Fernando. You will forever be in our hearts" A visitation for Chano will be held Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home and Crematory, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. A rosary will occur Tuesday, October 10, 2023 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM, 3050 N STEMMONS FWY, DALLAS, TX 75247. An interment will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Laurel Land Mem Park - Dallas, 6300 S. R. L. Thornton Frwy. , Dallas, TX 75232. A mass of christian burial will occur Wednesday, October 11, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at St Cecilia Catholic Church, 1809 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208. Regene Rose Connell, 92, formerly of Amarillo, passed peacefully in Dallas, Texas on Friday, December 1, 2023. Funeral services are pending at this time and will be posted once confirmed. Regene was born in the St. Francis community on April 19, 1931, to Aloys Paul and Martha Matilda Bichsel. She graduated from St. Mary's Academy and attended classes at Amarillo College and West Texas State in Canyon. She was employed for 39 years at Santa Fe Energy in the Land & Geological Drafting Department. Regene was a member of the Desk & Derrick Club, St. Anthony's Hospital Auxiliary, St. Mary's Choir and St. Catherine's Altar Society Circle. She enjoyed church activities, volunteering, traveling, singing, line dancing, painting, crafts, playing bridge, and especially spending time with family and her special friends. Regene moved to Plano, TX, from Amarillo in May 2014, to be nearer her son, Kevin, and his family, and resided at Sunrise Senior Living until her death on December 1, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, C. J. Bichsel and Maynard Bichsel; and sisters, Georgine Bichsel and Frances Goodin. Survivors include her son, Kevin Connell and wife, Donna; granddaughter, Kaylee Ann Connell, all of Plano, TX, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make a donation in honor of Regene R. Connell to the Amarillo Catholic Diocese, St. Mary's Cathedral, or St. Francis Catholic Church.Show more
