Abundio Nunez Obituary

Abundio Nunez, 68, of Peoria, passed away at his residence on April 20, 2023. He was born on December 20, 1954, in Mexico, to the late Sebastian and Maria Trinidad Santoyo Nunez. He is survived by his son, Andrew Castro; daughters, Laura Nunez, and Tiffany Nunez; step-son, Chris Castro; step-daughter, Michelle Rivera; grandchildren, Alena, Elias, Caleb, and Oliver; siblings, Petra Nunez, Isidro Nunez, Consuelo Nunez, Virginia Nunez, and Maria de Jesus; devoted friend, and mother of his son, Maria Rosario Castro and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Abundio was employed in maintenance with BNSF Railway for over 30 years. He enjoyed gathering at Dunkin Donuts in the mornings drinking coffee, and visiting with his friends. Funeral services will be held at 4PM on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the service.
