Abraham Lincoln Ingram, Jr. , age 77, of 30864 Mountain Valley Road, Millboro, Virginia died Sunday, September 10, 2023 at Augusta Medical Center in Fishersville. He was born July 19, 1946 in Bath County to the late Abraham Lincoln Ingram, Sr. and Nefor Randozzo Ingram. He was a retired Equipment Technician for Stella Jones, Inc. and also worked for VDOT for a number of years. He was a people person and a family man. He was a member of Green Valley Church and loved hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, George William Ingram and Robert Thomas Ingram, and a son-in-law, Kenneth Liptrap. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rosa Lee Landrum Ingram; his children, David Ingram and wife Teresa of Millboro, Abraham "Linkie" Ingram III and wife Monique of Millboro, and Lorie Baldwin and husband Ricky of Warm Springs; a twin brother, Guy T. Ingram; seven grandchildren, Kenny Ingram, Samantha Ricketts and husband Tommy, Toby Ingram, Jessica Ingram, Britney Via and husband Trey, Brenna Baldwin, and Hunter Baldwin; two great grandchildren, Rose Ricketts and Sky Ricketts; and his dog "Happy". In keeping with his wishes, his body has been cremated. A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023 at 5:00 PM in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Pastor Bill Gram officiating. Interment will be made privately in Calvary Memorial Cemetery at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 4:00 PM until the time of service at Nicely Funeral Home. Mary Louise Floyd Anderson, 86, of Afton passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Augusta Health, Fishersville. Born October 16, 1937 in Nelson County, she was a daughter of the late Charles William and Clara Lee (Henderson) Floyd. Prior to retirement, Mary was employed by State Farm where she worked as a secretary for 44 years. She was a member of Hebron Baptist Church, Afton and the Rockfish Valley Volunteer Fire Department. Mary had a servant's heart and was a member of the Virginia Baptist Association where she served others through various mission trips. By nature, she enjoyed taking care of those she loved through her gifts of cooking, baking, and giving of her time. She will be sorely missed by those whose loved her but will be remembered by all the ways she cared for them. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John David Anderson, Jr. ; son-in-law, James Nathan Davis; brothers, Jerry and John Floyd; sisters, Nellie Critzer and Dolly Ann Ward; and nephew, Bill Floyd. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Anderson Davis of Afton; granddaughter, Natalie Rose Davis and husband, Bryan Ashley of Afton; great-granddaughters, Hollice Kinsley, Emerson Ray, and Amelia Reign; sisters-in-law, Delores Floyd and Nancy Floyd; brother-in-law, Coy Anderson; nieces, Linda Gordon, Joyce Worth, Tammy Ramsey, Lynn Lowry, Donna Self, and Laurie Jean O'Brien; nephews, Michael Ward, Marco Floyd, and David Floyd, Jr. ; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; and her beloved feline companion, Silvermist. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a. m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Hebron Baptist Church, 66 Tanbark Drive, Afton with Pastor Billy Coffey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A reception for family and friends will be held following the committal service at the church. Active pallbearers will be Marco Floyd, Tommy England, Bryan Ashley, Brandon Harris, Rob Mansfield, Russell Lowery, Kenny Beasley, and Don Fitzgerald. There will be no formal visitation. Joyce Louise Street Bromwell, better known as "Gran," of Stuarts Draft, Va. went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 4th, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family at the age of 92. Daughter of the late Jason Street, Sr. and Blanche Woody Street, she was born in Bakersville, North Carolina on February 18, 1931. Joyce retired as a Registered Nurse in the Public Health Service and loved being a Sunday School teacher for many years. She was a member of Springdale Mennonite Church. She learned to trust Jesus at an early age, and she said many times that He has always been faithful! Her hobbies and interests included oil painting, sewing, music, and Bible reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Harold Bromwell; her sister, Janie Clark; her brothers, Junior Street, Bill Street, Roy Lee Street; and infant brother, Bobby Street, and sister-in-law, Regina Street. She is survived by her two daughters, Rachel Miller and Paula Martin and her husband, Dale Martin of Stuarts Draft, Va. ; grandchildren, Angela and her husband Dan Wyatt of Stuarts Draft, Logan Martin and his wife Madelene Martin of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina; great-grandsons, Sean Wyatt and Caleb Martin; brother-in-law, Wayne Clark of Unicoi, Tn. ; sisters-in-law Phyllis Street of Unicoi, Tn. , and Norma Street of Erwin, Tn. , as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews, and special adopted family members. Dee Lynn Terrell, 71, of Waynesboro, passed away Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Augusta Health, Fishersville, surrounded by family. He was born August 23, 1952 in Waynesboro, son of the late Herbert Edwin "Curley" Terrell, Jr. and Bertha Mae Weaver Terrell. He was a 1972 graduate of Stuarts Draft High School and had completed one year of college. Dee was retired as a Correction Officer with the Virginia Department of Corrections. An avid bear hunter, he as well, enjoyed deer hunting fishing and sitting at the barn visiting with family and friends. The family sends special appreciation to the staff at Augusta Health. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Dickie Stewart. Ruthie Alma (Fitzgerald) Dedrick, 85, wife of Freddie Harold Dedrick, of Stuarts Draft, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Augusta Health in Fishersville. Mrs. Dedrick was born in White Rock, Virginia on July 15, 1938, a daughter of the late Ottis Owen Fitzgerald and Eula Beatrice (Coffey) Fitzgerald. Ruthie was a 1955 graduate of Wilson Memorial High School, a member of Mountain Top Christian Church, and retired as a bookkeeper from Dedrick Construction and Excavating. She enjoyed canning, cooking, making sweet tea, and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dedrick was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Lee Fitzgerald and four sisters, Madeline Rhodes, Florine Painter, Edith Stinnett, and Dottie Brown. Surviving, in addition to her husband of sixty-five years, are two daughters, Donna D. Yeago and her husband, John and Pamela K. Varney and her husband, Keith both of Stuarts Draft; a sister, Libby Dameron of Crimora; six grandchildren, Jacob, Marcus, Taylor and Adriana Yeago, Daniel Holloway, and LeAnna Varney; nine great-grandchildren, Oaklyn, Jaxton, Sawyer, Olivia, Kinsley, Silas, Tye, Addison and Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m. on Sunday, December 3, 2023 at Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at their residence (41 Shirley Lane, Stuarts Draft, Virginia).
